Transport to Tumpak Sewu-Mount Bromo-Ijen Tour

Tumpak Sewu waterfall (a.k.a Coban Sewu - javanese language, a thousands waterfall) is one of the famous waterfalls located in East Java, precisely in Lumajang regency. The way to the waterfall is quite challenging, visitors have to go down by follow steep path-slippery and crossing the river to reach the waterfall.

It is suggested to prepare properly shoes, but you don't have to worry because the local guide at Tumpak Sewu will lead and take care of you during the trip at down. Surabaya or Malang to Tumpak Sewu-Bromo-Ijen

Start at early morning from the hotel in Surabaya or Malang. Arrive at Tumpak Sewu and make preparations for hiking to waterfall. The local guide will lead you to reach the waterfall. On the way to waterfall you can enjoying the scenery, go for swimming in "nature pool" near waterfall or just for taking photos as much as possible. Finish Tumpak Sewu tour, back to car then drive to Bromo about 3 hours*. Staying a night near Mt.Bromo. Normally the tourists booked their accommodation at Cemoro Lawang village, the nearest place to Mt.Bromo about 3-4 Km away. Quite easy going by walk.

At 3.00 AM the jeep would pick you up from the hotel to Pananjakan hill, the viewpoint to see a sunrise. Enjoying the beauty of sunrise and panoramic of Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. After that you will going to Mount Bromo, passing sea of sand by the jeep. To get to the peak of Mount Bromo you would climb use the stairs. If you had satisfied explorer Mount Bromo, get back to the jeep and go to hotel to take a shower, get your breakfast, packing then drive to near Ijen (Bondowoso or Banyuwangi) to stay a night.

Start at midnight from hotel, go to Paltuding drive about 1.5 hours*. Paltuding is the entry gate for Ijen crater tour. The ticket counter normally open at 2:00AM, in peak season or holiday season they will open early around 1.00AM. From Paltuding to peak or Ijen rim about 3 Km/2 hours by walking. Going down to crater-closer to blue flame spot about 30-40 minutes. When you meet the miners that want to go up while lift up the sulphur in basket, please prioritize them away. Finish Ijen tour back to hotel for breakfast, shower, packing then back to Surabaya or transfer to Ketapang harbor if you have planned onward to Bali.
